I saw the prettiest dusty blue bridesmaid dress a few weeks ago and it has been on my mind ever since because it was a color that I had never really thought to use on a wedding invitation before. So, even though there are other soft pastel colors in this boho chic watercolors wildflowers wedding invitation suite design, like peach, plum, and lavender purple, I decided to use the smokey blue as the main color that I paired with it. I’m sure there are a million names for the shade of blue that is in the wedding design, such as slate blue, dusk blue, smoke blue, cornflower blue and the like. What I like about it is that it mixes so well with the other colors on the design, like the various shades of green and brown.

Even though I was picturing this suite used for a modern Bohemian wedding, I still wanted it to look elegant, not messy, so I chose a formal script font instead of the more messy looking hand-written type fonts that you see so much of nowadays. I also added on an ornate scroll decoration in purple to add a little extra elegance to the overall look.
