Blush Pink Navy White Geometric Watercolor Wedding Invitation Set

I thoroughly enjoyed designing this new wedding suite that features assorted watercolor shapes in blush pink and a deep indigo navy blue. I paired the two watercolors with rose gold elements like splatters of gold dust and sprinkles and various geometric shapes for a current and trendy look. There are also large pale blush pink floral illustrations on the white background to fill in some of the space and to add another design element to the mix.

The rose gold elements can be changed to a silver gray look very easily during the proofing process, so if those are your colors, please keep this suite in mind and contact me about the change in metallics.

I have seen some truly stunning blush pink wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses, so whether you want to be the focal point in a blush pink gown, or you’d rather stand out in white with your bridesmaids in blush pink tones, there are tons of options to choose from to carry the color scheme throughout the whole wedding. You can use as much or as little of each color as you want and then accent everything with rose gold to add some sparkle and shine.

Geometric shapes are a very hot trend right now, so incorporating them in your wedding stationery will give things a modern look and feel. Adding the geometric shapes to the wedding decor is also easily achieved by using hanging lanterns in assorted geometric shapes and/or terrarium centerpieces filled with flowers or candles.

Scatter some rose gold confetti over blush pink or navy blue table cloths or runners, add in lots of fairy lights or tea lights to bounce off the metallics and you’ll have a warm and rosy glow that your guests will find both appealing and inviting.

Burgundy Wine and Charcoal Gray Wedding Invitation Suite

I had a recent custom color request to change one of my designs to use burgundy instead of navy blue with one of my gray and white damask wedding invitations. That led me to do some searches online for burgundy and grey wedding color schemes, which led to me falling in love with those colors for a wedding, especially a late summer, fall or winter wedding.

I think the deep burgundy wine color, paired with charcoal grey and white is such a clean and crisp, sophisticated look with lots of good kind of drama. I love the look of the sharkskin gray men’s suits with burgundy ties and of course, argyle socks in burgundy and gray. I’ve even seen the groomsmen in burgundy suits with the bridesmaids in dark pewter grey bridesmaids dresses with burgundy floral bouquets and that looks great, too.

I designed this new burgundy wine and charcoal grey wedding invitation suite with modern elegance and sophistication in mind. The design uses a dark grey and white damask pattern that is always in style for a wedding. The main feature is the PRINTED ON deep burgundy wine ribbon and bow that sits near the bottom of the wedding invitation, or near the top of the mini calendar save the date card. There is a romantic simulated (printed on) burgundy glitter and jewel joined hearts accent in the middle of the bow. The area below the ribbon is a dark charcoal gray with white script writing that says: “This day, I will marry my best friend, the one I live for, laugh with, dream with, love”. The wording can say whatever you want as long as it will fit in the space. The main wording area is white with the wedding details printed in gray and burgundy. I’ve also added four burgundy corner flourishes and a small scroll divider to add a bit more oomph to the design.

Some people may also call the shade of burgundy I’ve used marsala, but that is more to do with Marsala wine than with the Pantone color of the year for 2015 also called Marsala, but which is more of a coppery brown shade than what I would call burgundy.

I’ve carried the printed on ribbon around to the backs of the invitation, RSVP card and Save the Date card because I like how that looks. I’m happy to add any additional wording to the backs of any of the pieces of this wedding suite, and a photo could also be added to the back of the invitation or the mini calendar save the date card if you would like to have that.

Burgundy Gray Damask Jewel Wedding Save the Date Set

I came across a great DIY centerpiece tutorial for a pretty elegant looking burgundy floral centerpiece. I would look for planters that were the shape and size I wanted and then if they weren’t a nice silver or pewter already, I would spray paint them to go with my theme. So simple and yet so stylish!

One of the other great things about using burgundy in your wedding is how many shades of burgundy, maroon, and marsala there are that all work together, and they all look so great with shades of silver and grey. Succulents also look gorgeous with burgundy shades too, so adding them to centerpieces and bouquets can warm things up a bit if you find the burgundy and gray wedding color theme a bit on the cool side. Personally, I think it has such a contemporary, sophisticated look that it would work for many different weddings and budgets.

Sunflower Royal Blue Burlap Wood Wedding Invitation Set

I’m always amazed to see how many people purchase their autumn or fall wedding invitation stationery early in the New year. This year I have noticed a lot of people purchasing invitations with a royal blue and yellow color scheme so that inspired me to design a new rustic burlap and wood wedding design that features a royal or cobalt blue ribbon image with a bright yellow sunflower.

I decided to try to design something that uses a brighter shade of royal blue paired with a pretty yellow sunflower. Rustic weddings are still going strong and I think as long as there are barn wedding venues and simple outdoor settings that someone will always veer towards the warm and carefree feeling that sunflowers exude. I think the cobalt blue or royal blue and yellow sunflowers wedding theme is so perfect for a late summer or early fall wedding. There is just something about those dog days of summer that makes me think of sunflowers and hay and all things country. So, for anyone not quite sure if they want to go full-on autumn wedding with all the fall leaves and darker colors, this color scheme may be more to your liking. Even if you end up getting married on an overcast day, the bright yellow and blue will keep things lively and sunny looking.

The other things I like about a rustic burlap and sunflower wedding is the affordability of it. There are so many ways to save money on this sort of theme and you don’t need to be very handy to pull it off and still have things look like it was all professionally designed. With a little pre-planning, you could easily take care of most of the flowers and centerpieces yourself by planting your own sunflowers or asking someone you know if they would plant some for you to use. That would certainly cut down on a large part of the flower and bouquet budget. With this rustic sunflower wedding theme, I think the more casual and easy-going things look, the better. So throw some sunflowers and baby’s breath in a mason jar, wrap a royal blue ribbon around the neck, tie a small wood heart to it that has “Fall in Love” written on it, and there you have some awesome and affordable centerpieces that match your wedding theme. Same with the bouquets and boutonnieres: some sunflowers, a few accent flowers in blue, white, or cream, a bit of royal blue ribbon, twine, or burlap ribbon, and you’ll all look amazing.

I also think that burlap goes perfectly well with sunflowers and the whole rustic look. It is also very affordable to purchase for use on your decor, favors, and anywhere you need a little rustic charm, like over your cake table, over an old barrel that holds your favors, or as a table runner on your reception tables. I wanted to use the simulated burlap pattern with a warm wood pattern that brought out the brown tones in the center of the large yellow sunflower image I used. I think the bright royal blue ribbon contrasts nicely against the browns and yellow. The look was completed using a painted golden yellow wood-look heart with the words “Fall in Love” printed on in brown in a modern calligraphy type font. Even with a rustic design, I always feel compelled to bring in a bit of elegance to the wedding design, so for this one, I used an ornate brown scrolled frame on the back side to surround the wedding invitation wording. The wording is a mix of brown and bright blue and there is another sunflower image at the top and a decorative ornament that breaks up the main wording from the reception information.

Freebie alert! I hope you enjoy these complimentary free printable baseball or softball Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah cupcake toppers that I created!

There are 4 different baseball or softball themed cupcake topper designs. All have a baseball ball background (complete with red stiching). There are four different designs in two different colors: Star of David, Mazel Tov, Bar Mitzvah / Bat Mitzvah, and blank baseball (see below image). The two colors are blue and black paired with the red and white baseball. The variety and colors allow you to mix and match for a fun look. Works perfectly for a red, white, blue and black baseball themed sports party. They would be perfect on a dessert or candy buffet table!

Instructions:

Download the printable .pdf file linked below that you want to use (one is for Bar Mitzvah and one is for Bat Mitzvah). Click on the image or the text link to get to the printable .pdf file.
Print them out on 8.5″x11″ cardstock and cut them out. They are 2″ round cupcake toppers which is a standard size. You can also print them out on sticker paper if you want. This file is formatted to fit Avery sticker template #22807.
Optional: Dress them up by layering a 2.5″ scalloped or other shaped cardstock shape behind.
Glue them to small straws and stick them in the cupcakes.

Baseball Softball Bar Mitzvah Invitation Set

Sports themes, like baseball, soccer, basketball etc. are a very popular choice for Bar Mitzvahs. Many young men dream of becoming a famous sports legend, so if your son is a Major League Baseball hopeful, why not give him a Bar Mitzvah of his dreams!

I designed three different baseball theme Bar Mitzvah invitations in this suite of matching stationery. One is meant to look like a baseball magazine cover, while the other is a little more traditional. Both baseball Bar Mitzvah invites feature a green and brown ball diamond in a nighttime field, complete with overhead spotlights. They both also have a large white with red stitching baseball with a light blue Jewish Star of David on it that can be left off if you prefer. Both baseball Bar Mitzvah invites also have a black ballplayer silhouette on them with the one on the magazine cover invite looking more like a pitcher throwing the baseball to home plate, while the silhouette on the other baseball Bar Mitzvah invitation looking more like an outfielder throwing the ball. The backs of both of these baseball Bar Mitzvah invitations have a navy blue, red, and white color scheme and feature another black silhouette of a ballplayer. The wording colors on these baseball Bar Mitzvah invites is also in red, white, and blue and the fonts are a mix of fun and sporty looking ones that tie in with the overall color scheme and theme.

Baseball Softball Bar Mitzvah Invitation Set Version 2

To help offset some of the costs of your Baseball theme Bar Mitzvah, I also included reception or party details on the back of both Bar Mitzvah invitations. I’m a firm believer in getting the most bang for your buck, so I encourage people to use both sides of the invitations for whatever information they want to send out to their guests. RSVP info, accommodations, directions, weekend activites or whatever you need to relay to your guests can be printed on the back of the cards, saving you money on needing to buy extra inserts.

Just in case you wanted to have a separate reception or party card, I designed one in the same red, white and blue color scheme but designed it to look like a scoreboard with the words “Party Field” at the top and your son’s baseball stats and game stats below. There is also a brown leather ball glove and bat sitting on some green grass. And just like the baseball Bar Mitzvah invitations, the party invite has a red and navy blue back with a black ballplayer silhouette of a batter. The party details are in white with the same fun, sporty fonts that appear on the other matching items. This card can also be used for any other information you might want to pass along to your guests.

I chose the red and navy blue color scheme to match with the red and navy blue envelopes that are available through our printer as an upgrade. White ink return addresses can be printed on the invitation or RSVP envelopes for an additional fee. Mix and match the envelopes and use one of the baseball envelope seals to seal up your outgoing invitation package and I think you’ll score a home run with your guests for sure!
