Some couples dream of a wedding with soft and romantic pastel shades such as blush pink, mint green, or powder blue. These pretty pastel colors look fabulous when paired with ivory and gold. These color combinations will give your wedding the ambience of a warm and sophisticated Victorian parlour. I designed the above gorgeous vintage floral monogram wedding invitations in three color choices in celebration of bygone days where style and elegance were revered.
The three color choices available for this vintage rose floral wedding invitation design are shown in the graphic above. They are:
- mint green, ivory, and simulated gold leaf
- blush pink, ivory, and simulated gold leaf
- powder blue, ivory, and simulated gold leaf
In addition to the vintage floral monogram wedding invitation, I designed a variety of matching wedding stationery items for the blush pink version of the set, including RSVP cards, stickers, mailing labels, reception insert cards, thank you cards, favor tags, and place cards. Pictured below are some of the matching items that go along with the blush pink, ivory and gold leaf vintage floral monogram wedding invitation set. I plan to add additional matching items for the power blue and mint green set as well.
Why choose simulated gold leaf? Well, “real” gold foil is very expensive and is only available in limited designs. With this vintage wedding design that utilizes a simulated aged gold leaf foil look, you’ll get all the sophisticated look of actual gold foil but you’ll be saving money to spend on other aspects of your wedding. The set still looks elegant and stylish, so your guests will know what to expect from your wedding.
This vintage monogram wedding invitation design features large roses or peony type flowers in the background and a vintage bracket shape that frames your wedding invitation wording. It also features a stylish monogram and elegant script font. This wedding invitation design has a Victorian or old world European look. This style of invitation would be suitable for many different wedding venues (grand ballroom, outdoor garden party, afternoon tea, old manor estate, etc). It would be a good choice for Victorian weddings, Old World European weddings, and elegant vintage damask weddings.
These color combinations work best for spring, summer, or winter weddings. This set looks great on any of the quality paper types available, but I love the sparkle of the ice pearl paper. It gives the overall design a beautiful shimmer. I also love how it looks with the gold leaf or ice pearl envelopes.
You can also consider using this gorgeous design for any other special occasion as well. Any of the color combinations would make a lovely bridal shower invitation or adult female birthday invitation.
